When do deliveries take place?
Deliveries to our selected Cape Town suburbs take place on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during regular working hours.
How do the products arrive?
All products arrive in the packaging seen on our website, and enclosed in a cardboard box; frozen products arrive in the same state as if you were to purchase them in-store. Please ensure that you place the frozen products in the freezer immediately to avoid thawing.
What if I am not home or at the office when delivery is taking place?
We’ll give you a courtesy phone call before arriving at your delivery address, and if no-one is available to accept the goods upon arrival we’ll return the products to our dispatch office. You will then need to either pay an additional delivery fee or come collect your order from one of our stores (please bring your proof of payment and electronic receipt).
We do apologise for any inconvenience caused in an instance like this, but due to the perishable nature of our products we have to take every precaution possible to ensure they are received in their peak condition.
What is the cost of delivery?
We charge a flat rate of R80.00 per delivery.
Do you only deliver to residential addresses?
We are happy to deliver to almost any address given. If it is an office building we ask that you please make sure that security is aware of the delivery.
Why should I use FRÜT over any other company?
Ultimately, the choice is always yours. That being said, we strive to ensure that we always deliver the highest quality products at the most affordable rates – we just want everyone to be able to afford and enjoy the healthy lifestyle. We trust in the quality of our products and keep customer service at the forefront to ensure that anyone and everyone has a peachy experience with us.
Are all the products that are available in the shops available online too?
We add to our product range on a continuous basis, so unfortunately we don’t have absolutely everything available online just yet – we like to test run the new products in-store before offering the successful products online. Any new products (both in-store and online) that we add will be advertised on our social media pages so that you know what to look forward to.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
There is no minimum order quantity, but it makes more sense to buy in bulk and spread the cost of delivery over as many products as possible (especially since you can store extras in your freezer for about two years). If you live in a shared flat or have friends, family, or co-workers who are looking for similar products, you can place one order together and get it delivered to one household to save on costs.
How do I pay?
Payments are made through a secure portal from the trusted services of PayFast, an accredited and independent third-party payment gateway. Online payments can be made with a debit/credit card or PayPal – please take note that we do not accept EFTs for delivery.
FRÜT is a cashless business, so we do not accept cash payment for any orders (both in store and for delivery); this is to ensure that all our staff members are always as safe as possible.
